Yes. However you can only cut the angle one way. It is not like a wood chop saw where you move the head.

I havent had any problems with it cutting the 45 degree angles I needed for some of the projects I needed, as with all projects , just measure twice , cut once. Good luck

The motor is AC powered. It requires 120 volt and 15 amp to operate.

I believe it is an ac (alternating current) motor. i did not see any converter device that would change it to DC current.
