How do you use this tool?

Happy New Year! There is a green clip that pushed through the end of the fuel line like a horse shoe that locks the fuel filter tube in place on the fuel line. I do not understand how this device will pull that clip out.'Thanks, Rich

Staff Answer
You wrap the open side around the spring clamp and once in place it only takes a few small "wiggle" movements and the spring inside the fitting releases. It appears as if it would be difficult but believe me when I see it is surprisingly simple. I have used one a Dodge previously.
