The included die inserts are Alloy Tool Steel 9cr2, which is well-suited because of its distinctive hardness, resistance to abrasion, ability to hold a cutting edge, and resistance to deformation at elevated temperatures.

Pipe Nipples

The specification state will cut pipe up to 19.5' long but doesn't give the minumim. How short of a pipe nipple can you thread with this threader?

Replacement parts, including cutting wheels and the on/off switch, can be purchased by calling our replacement parts department at 1-800-222-5381. The shortest pipe this can handle is 1.6 feet, and we do not have an adapter for anything shorter.

This pipe threader is not compatible with Rigid dies. Parts for this threader are available through our Parts department. Please call 1-800-222-5381 and choose the option for Parts for price and availability. Click the links below to view the replacement die sets.
