Questions & Answers for Nortrac Suction Filter Assembly

Question

Does GPM and pressure need to be a consideration?

Since this is on the suction side of the pump, is it correct that the filter and mounting will not be exposed to high pressure so it could be connected with a hose and clamp system instead of a threaded connector. Is that correct?

Being the filter is mounted on the suction side of the pump, it could be connected with a hose and a clamp system. This will not change the flow that the pump is producing.
