There are four slots on the base which will come close to a standard MTD type pattern.

The seat is 18-1/2" W X 13" H. The mounting patterns are:6 x 5, 3/8 bolts, 5 1/4 x 4 1/4, 5/16 bolts, 7 1/2 x 7, 5/16 bolts.

Mounting patterns- 6 x 5 using 3/8" bolts, 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 using 5/16" bolts, 7 1/2 x 7 using 5/16"
bolts and has no center bolt hole.

Their are about 5 different patterns I put mine on a 1971 IH 444 tractor with minimal modification and 4 5/16 bolts

two sets of four bolts make it universal for all types. I had a MTD and it fit with no issue

The mounting patterns for this lawn tractor seat are 6 x 5- 3/8 bolts, 5 1/4 x 4 1/4- 5/16 bolts, 7 1/2 x 7- 5/16 bolts and no center bolt hole.
