It uses 83 watts so that should be about 7 amps.

One of the posters stated 83 watts, which would equate to 6.9 amps at 12 volts. My batteries are charged up at 12.7 volts, which would be closer to 6.5 amps. The wattage should be roughly about the same when operating at 110V, maybe slightly less.

The unit will plug into the vehicles 12 volt accessory plug. It includes a 5ft AC cord and a 6ft. DC cord.

If the unit is to be put in a cabinet, it should not have a door on the front and the back should be completely open with a minimum of 4 inches of clearance between the back of the unit and the wall with no restrictions for the heated air to rise from the back. If there is no alternative to having a door on the cabinet, the door should be ventilated with louvers or openings (equal to a minimum of 33 square inches) that allow for intake air flow. This fridge will not automatically switch back and forth between AC and DC power because, there are two different plugs for each where they will need to be switched manually by the user.

This Superconductor Refrigerator is designed to be used with your vehicles standard 12 volt battery. As long as the battery stays charged this refrigerator will keep running.
