Questions & Answers for "Powerblanket Electric Engine & Battery Heater - 2ft.L x 2ft.W, Model# EH0202"

Question

can this be used on a generator

Could this be used on a standby generator to prevent the carberater from getting ice in it? I was thinking that maybe I could open the main lid of the generator and then lay this across the removeable cover to the carberator...and maybe it would prevent ice from forming in the carburator on extreme cold days/night/.?

Without exact make and model number of the standby generator in question it is difficult to say for sure but in theory it should do the job just fine.

No, this Powerblanket engine and battery heater does not require a thermostat to operate correctly.

This blanket simply plugs in and produces heat up to 120 degrees depending on the boundary temperature.

No. Thermostat is an internal fixed. Blanket is an EH (Extra-Hot) model so it gets in the 100+ range. Perfect for warming batteries, engine warming, etc. Just plug it in and walk away. Internal thermostat regulates temperature and keeps everything toasty warm. Say goodbye to "Cold-Start" wear and tear.

thanks -
