No, this Powerblanket engine and battery heater does not require a thermostat to operate correctly.
This blanket simply plugs in and produces heat up to 120 degrees depending on the boundary temperature.

No. Thermostat is an internal fixed. Blanket is an EH (Extra-Hot) model so it gets in the 100+ range. Perfect for warming batteries, engine warming, etc. Just plug it in and walk away. Internal thermostat regulates temperature and keeps everything toasty warm. Say goodbye to "Cold-Start" wear and tear.
