Question
Can you lay on top of it while on concrete covered with snow?
Important to know before purchase due to want to use to put on cold snowy ground while working under vehicles...any shocking potential with that?

Yes. Powerblanket is UL/CSA but you don't want to set it in water. Powerblanket only heats on one side (face down it melts snow and ice... and face up you can lay on it to keep warm.) Product is heavy duty and can take a beating. Powerblanket is water tight and weatherproof. No shock hazard unless you submerge in water. Laying on top of blanket is OK.

This unit gets pretty warm. Only heats on one side. Heat side down it will melt snow quickly. You can lay on top side without any worries of shock as long as your not in a pool of water.

yes. Depending on how cold it is outside (or in your garage) you may choose to leave the blanket plugged all winter.

Question
Is it possible to keep it on the engine while the vehicle is running?
Just wondering because based on some of the pictures it looks questionable as to if you can have it stay there while driving, but at the same time I guess it would be easy enough to remove when done each time.
