This transfer pump kit comes with a telescoping suction pipe. This suction pipe has a max length of 40" and a minimum length of 29-3/4".

I think it's 40". Fits 55gal steel drums. The pipe is two pieces. The first piece fastening to the pump is 1/3 of the length. The lower section is telescopic (one tube over another tube) and slides down (extends) to hit bottom of your barrel/tank. I posted up a pic of it before going into the drum under the listing of the flowmeter. Check it out.

The Northern Industrial Tools Fuel Transfer Pump will not pump waste oil. Northern Tool does sell oil pumps, 1 powered by 12 volt, most powered manually or by air. See link below for the 12 volt.
