I wouldn't recommend it cause of the amount of heat that comes out the top of this thing. Not a good idea.

Yes, as long as it is well ventilated & the ceiling material can withstand high heat. I have mine under a roofed deck (but no walls), with a 8 feet tall all wood ceiling. View my review for more info.

Yes it does. It's 8 or 10ft long and the regulator is attached to it. Propane tank is all you'll need.

There is a hose form the burner to the gas tank valve assembly. This assembly connects directly to the tank that is stored inside the stand. The tank is secured by a chain and clsap and the door to the tank is latched

On a twenty pound tank, the patio heater will last about 10 hours on high and 40 hours on low.

20lbs propane tank lasts me 20 hours on high and 32 hours on low. Actually pretty good.

The patio heater has a BTU rating from 10.200 - 40,800. The heater does include a tilt switch and safety cutout as safety features.

No, a 30# propane tank will not fit inside this patio heater it is designed for a 20# tank.
