The maximum air consumption of this unit is 125 CFM @ 80 PSI when used with a 5/16" nozzle. The minimum air consumption is 7 CFM @ 80 PSI when used with a 3/32" nozzle. I would recommend using this blaster with a compressor that will provide at least 15 CFM. See links below for more details.

Will this unit be good for sandblasting a pool?

I have a 40' x 80' x 5' deep pool that needs sandblasting to remove paint. Will this unit work for that or is there another that is better? Which type of blasting media is best for this application? (model 41600)

Most of the blasters that we offer will be able to remove the paint from a pool interior. Keep in mind that the higher the cfm requirement of the blaster, and the bigger the nozzle you use the faster the job will go. A higher cfm requirement will also require a larger compressor to operate the blaster. The type of media that you should select will depend on your specific situation.

No, the Allsource 100-lb. Pressure Blaster would not work for soda blasting. You would need to use a machine designed specifically for use with soda. Northern Tool sells some soda blasters, see links below.
