Yes this unit comes with the mounting hardware, so you can mount it into a trailer for diesel transfer.

Can this item be used as a auxillary tank feed into existing fuel system?

I am looking for a simple, rugged, and inexpensive auxillary fuel tank that I can install in the back of my truck bed and feed into my existing fuel system. I would like a 100 gal capacity. I have a deseil truck. Thanks.

This cannot be used as a auxillary tank, due to it not having a drain plug, it is not DOT approved and it is for transfer only.
