Volts x amps equals watts. This unit is 120 volts x 16 amps which equals 1920 watts. So a 2000 watt generator in theory would run the unit but you might want a bit more watts from the generator to be safe and so you are not maxing out the generator which can lower the life of the generator.

If I were to add an additional 70 feet of hose would I see a loss of pressure or performance?

would there be any change in pressure or performance if I were to mount the additional hose reel overhead above the unit?

Yes, you would see a loss of pressure and performance on this Comet Pressure Washer if you were to add additional hose. Typically the loss of pressure would be approximately 100 psi per 50 feet. There would not be any change in pressure or performance if an additional hose reel were mounted above the unit.

Question

Will this work on a household 15AMP circuit?

Noticed the current on this product is 16AMPs, while most household circuit are 15AMPs. Does this product come with the T-prong plug for 20AMP circuit, or regular 15AMP circuit outlet plugs?

Yes, this Comet pressure washer is actually equipped with a 16 amp circuit breaker but runs at 14 amps so a common household 15 amp circuit will support it.

It comes with a standard household three prong plug with approximately 10 feet of cord.
