This NorthStar compressor pump does not run off of electricity... it is driven by the pulley with a 5 horsepower electric motor at 1,450 RPMs (sold separately) or it can also be driven by a 9 horsepower gasoline engine (sold separately.)

This compressor requires a 5 horsepower electric motor. If you were to use item# 162492 (See link below for more details) you would need to have a pulley on the motor that has a 5.8" diameter.
This pump is made to run at 1450 rpm.
The pulley on the pump is 13.8".
The rpm of item#162492 is 3450.
The number in question is the diameter of the pulley to use on the motor (D)

The formula is as follows:
Pump rpm X pump pulley diameter = Motor rpm X motor pulley diameter.
1450 X 13.8 = 3450 X D
20010 = 3450 X D
20010 / 3450 = D
5.8" = D

We do not sell the pulley for this application.

The mounting bolts on this pump are spaced 6.85" Center to Center left to right and 5.79" Center to Center front to back when facing the flywheel.

what diameter is the pulley shaft, so maybe i can run a smaller pulley?

This NorthStar air compressor pump has a pulley shaft that is tapered from .982 inches to .932 inches. Changing the pulley on this pump will void the warranty, this pump is only rated for a maximum of 1450 RPM.
