Yes, this item does include a cord with cigarette lighter type plug, however it is intended for use on 12 volt dc current only.

It has a DC cord that plugs in your lighter or convenience outlet in the car. It does not plug into house power.

Question

Power connection to vehicle

Hi, most higher output 12v compressors that I've seen like this usually require direct connection to the battery. I assume that 's because of the higher power draw required to operate them. I see this good year unit plugs into the cig. lighter. which to me suggests it may not be a good choice for my 1 ton pickup truck tires. Is this compressor an acceptable choice for homeowner use to fill full size pickup truck tires to at least 80 psi without damage or over heating of the compressor?

Tried it on my 80 PSI tire didn't have a problem. Now if your tire is flat u may be waiting some time and if in fact your bead is broke (tire to rim open) Then your done there is no way this little unit can do it, just does not have the CFM to bead even a tubeless bicycle tire.

The gauge cannot be set to stop at a specific PSI. If 15 PSI is what you need you will need to check the gauge and stop it at 15 PSI.

You need an AC to DC converter. Check the max amps on both the compressor and the converter first. The converter output must be high enough to handle what you plug into it.

This air compressor will provide up to 140 PSI of air which will be able to fill your tire rated for 110 PSI.
