The length of time that this machine will take to inflate a tire will depend on the height of the tire as well as the dimensions you have listed, the pressure to which you are inflating it and if the battery is starting with a full charge. I would estimate that the fill time would be in the range of 5 to 7 minutes.

answer 2
It'll take awhile if totally flat. The compressor has a low volume output. Fortunately the fill hose locks onto the valve stem. I usually turn it on and go about my chores coming back about every 3-5 mins to check progress until filled.

The time rating for the 120 volt output in the previous post, does not relate to the battery life. This unit has a power inverter in it that can supply 400 watts for up to 5 minutes before it needs to cool. This inverter can supply 320 watts continuously without having to cool. The batter life in this power pack is approximately 20 Ah (Amp hours) @ 12 Volts. That means that on a full charge the battery would provide 300 watts of power for 45 to 50 minutes.

answer 2
Battery is only 12v, 20 Amp hour. Guess that's about 240 Watt hours. Certainly it is not suitable for extended uses, but should be adequate for a small lamp (60w) or two for a couple of hours.

No, the compressor on this powerpack does not have an attached tank to store the air, so it would not provide the same action as compressed air from a can or tank. This compressor is best suited for tasks such as inflating tires.

Question

Cold Storage

I live in Maine, where the winter can get down to -30 degrees. Can I store the unit in my unheated garage without damaging it, as long as it is plugged in to an AC wall outlet? At that temperature will it still charge properly and be ready to use when the car doesn't start the next morning?

The operating temperature range for the power source is 14 - 104 degrees. It would not be advised to store this in a constant -30 degrees environment as the power source would possibly not work properly.
