The 30 amp controller can handle 3 x 150 watt solar pannels for 450 watts. Can I hook this up to the 32 A DC terminal? It says 400 watts maximum

The 30 amp charge controller is recommended for solar use only. It would not be recommended to be hooked up to the 32 A DC terminal.

This has a modified sine wave inverter/charger.

it's a modified sign wave (sawtooth) so not good for sensitive electronics or voltage modulated devices (dimmers).

This solar package can run any electronic device that requires 1400 watts or less and that can be plugged into a 110 volt outlet.

There are adapters available that allow negative and positive wires to connect to mc4 cables. Northern Tool does not currently offer these adapters. They would have to be purchased locally.

The batteries have a 1 year warranty. Northern does not offer a different battery for this unit.

What is the system lifespan?

1) What is the average lifespan of this system, specifically the batteries?
2) Will load be disconnected automatically when power is too low? When recharged, will load be automatically reconnected? If not, what is needed to add this feature?

When maintained properly the batteries will have a life span of about 5 years. The power hub unit does have a low battery indicator on it. When the voltage gets to low the inverter will automatically shut off. When the system is recharged it will automatically reconnect.
