Because every installation is different, the wiring from the panels to the control unit is not provided with this item. In the installation guide that comes with this package you will find specific wiring recommendations for different lengths and gauge of wire.

This unit will take approximately 2 days of full sunlight to completely charge with the supplied solar panels. We are not able to substitute the panels that come with this system, however more panels can be added to speed up the charge time. The system comes with two 110 watt panels, but it can accept up to a 480 watt input. So two more of the same panels can be added. See link below for more details.

Question

charge controler

Does the charge controler that is provided with this kit allow the use of a AC outlet and Solar panels and Wind gen for a power source? It looks like it has connections to hook up all of the above but the photo is too small for me to see for sure.
Or can you tell me exactly what charge controler is used and I will check for myself.

This NPower solar package is equipped with a 30 Amp NPower charge controller that can be used with solar panels, generators, and wind generators.

You can mix and match how you charge the batteries with multiple solar panels, a wind generator, and generator or even all three, if you want.

The charge controllers sole purpose is to regulate how the solar panels, generator, or wind generator charge the batteries.

The controller attaches with the power source to the battery to prevent the batteries from overcharging/discharging, and it helps prolong the life of the batteries.

The AC outlets are located on the power hub, away from the batteries and charge controller.

To research the charge controller a little closer please see my product recommendations listed below...

Question

what will it run for how long

I hate to ask this question but it will be my last question. I have no idea what watt hours are so if you could tell me what this kit will run and for about how long it would really help me. Like say a 100 watt light bulb or 10 - 100 watt light bulbs or an average size ice box or a lap top computer or just anything that is a common item so I will have some idea of app. how long this kit will run something on a full charge. Thank you for your time,

The battery box dimensions are 13.9 x 13.9 x 20” (35.2 x 35.2 x 50.8 cm). The number of batteries that will fit will depend on the size of the batteries that are used. In any combination the battery bank cannot exceed 400 Ah due to the built-in controller.
