The spray tip (where the paint comes out) sometimes becomes either partially or fully plugged. The tip may be reversed by turning the side handle in the reverse direction to unplug the tip. Caution:The tip should only be reversed when there is no pressure at the tip and is pointed into a container before squeezing the trigger.

The reversible tip allows you to turn it 180 degrees to clean out the tip if it were to get clogged.

Yes, this sprayer could be used to spray enamel as long as the flash point of the material is below 70 degrees F. Be sure to check the material safety data sheet for the flash point information.

Yes, you can use it with enamel. You will want to make sure that the product you are spraying is within the recommended tip size of the sprayer. The maximum tip size that the Paint Crew can support is a .015.

This paint sprayer is not designed to spray lacquer. An HVLP (high volume low pressure) system will spray lacquer. Please look below for our product recommendation.

The maximum tip size that sprayer can support is a .015. If the manufacture of the paint recommends a tip size of .015 or smaller that sprayer will work with your application. If the manufacture of the paint recommend a tip size larger then a .015 I would not recommend it though that sprayer.

This sprayer can be used to spray acrylic latex. The maximum tip size that can be use with this unit is .015 which is recommended for latex.
