Question

How easy it it to make plunge cuts?

I need to cut an opening in an aluminum plate, 1/2" thick, in an existing piece of equipment. I would also like to know the distance from the blade to the end of the motor as there are some space constraints.

The distance from the blade to the end of the motor is 8 3/4". The ease of making a plunge cut would depend on your individual skill level.
