Question

Measurement of drop

I am curious what the distance is from the bottom of the face plate measuring down the wall to shade. I want to install this over my garage, but it cant hang down too far or the cars wont fit in the garage.

Also, what is the measurement from the top of the face plate, up the wall, and to the top of the goose neck?

Thanks

The goose neck rises 4" above the top of the wall plate and the bottom of the shade hangs 5" below the bottom of the wall plate.

The measurement straight across from the bottom of the face plate to the top section of the shade is 11-1/4". When measuring down from the bottom of the face plate, against the wall, then across to the bottom edge of the shade is 7". It is approximately 7-1/2" when measured diagonally from bottom of face plate to bottom edge of shade.

ETL stands for Electrical Testing Labs and was established in 1896 by Thomas Edison to provide assurance to consumers through product performance and safety testing. UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Listing means that UL has tested representative samples of the product and determined that it meets UL's requirements. Both marks demonstrate that the product that bears it has met the minimum requirements of widely accepted product safety standards as determined through the independent testing of a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).
