No it does not have a marker for next rows. It would have to be done manually. Your tractor would work fine.

Question

Does it have different seed plates for different seeds?

Such as corn would need a seed plate with large holes, milo small holes, wheat medium holes, alfalfa would need tiny holes.

There is a knob to screw in and out so the slot opens.  Works with most corn we
have seen and all beans we have come across.

Question

I wanted to know how the rows are made and then covered after the seed is dropped but the picture does not show much. is there a product manual?

I am gearing up for next season and wanted to automate my planting process. I am planting less than an acre currently, but have 2 nice tractors to work with. It has been hard to find planter/seeders for small farms as I intend to grow enough to eat and store, I want to plant corn, soybeans in large plots and if this works it would be affordable......RS

The rows are made by the arrow like middle buster on the lower front. The seeds are then dropped from the hopper and the wheel goes around and covers or stamps the dirt down on the seeds.

The seeder will work best with ground that is prepared for planting. The unit does not provide a way to keep excessive brush from build up.
