This aerator is designed to put holes in your yard so it would not work as a lawn roller.

The Yard Tuff Drum Spike Aerator item model # SE-60 is good for yards with existing grass to bring out the nutrients using more oxygen and water to the roots; we do not recommend using during seeding process.

You would want to avoid crossing driveways when possible. When done repeatably it may cause damage to your spikes and your driveway.
