This unit is made with a combination of brushed and polished aluminum, it is not anodized.

Yes, the ramp can be removed from this cargo carrier, it is attached with two bolts. The inside dimensions are 47" L x 27 5/8" W x 7 1/2" D.

Steve, The ramps are bolted on ,but fold up inside and secured with carter pins.The inside demensions are width 27 1/2" inside, and the lenght to the ramps is roughly 46 3/4" .

Question
How many inches are between each rung as you drive up the ramp?
We want to put an electric mobility scooter on the carrier, but want to know the gap between the rungs. Also how wide is each rung. Not side to side, but the width going bottom to top. I called your company, but this info was not available. It should be as I would think others might want to drive something up the ramp. Will appreciate a reply.
