You stated the Drive gear is Metal - Great. What about the smaller Drive Pinion gear that goes on the sweeper shaft? Metal or Plastic? Replacable?

The dimensions of the box it comes shipped in will be 54-3/4" long, 16-3/4" wide, and 20-1/4" high.

The drive gear is made of metal. The sweeper has a 2 year warranty with the drive gear and all other parts being available through Brinly-Hardy. Replacing the drive gear is fairly easy.
