There was not one listed but as the picture shows, there is a handle that controls the height if the blade. I see no reason why a winch or actuator could not be used instead.

You need a sleeve hitch to raise and lower this unit and properly work it. MTD makes a sleeve hitch that can be adapted to most tractors that one is not available for.

No, but it wouldn't be hard to drill the tung and add an eye bolt for the winch.

Yes, this unit will swivel in order to be pushed backwards. Just remember that this along with the other Brinly-Hardy ground engaging units require a Sleeve hitch to operate properly.

I pulled it with the John Deere d105 17.5hp. I did not use weights or the teeth attachment (sorry I don't know the nomenclature). I also did not use a sleeve attachment. Just the mower attachment pin. It worked great at leveling sandy soil but maxed out the mower. I hope this helps.

The attachment could be used with your UTV. You would need to have a sleeve hitch put on the UTV. These can be purchased at your local tractor supply store.

Question

Will this work without a sleeve hitch

I have an MTD Yard Machine lawn tractor. Can I hook the box scraper directly to the tractor without a sleeve hitch? A sleeve hitch is expensive and I really don't need to raise the scraper, it can be on the ground the entire time I am using it.

Thank you for your question. You have to have the sleeve hitch, otherwise the unit will just bounce around. You won't have any stability.
