This item mounts to floor of pickup beds and fits full-size, 6.5 foot and 8 foot pickup beds, trailers, garages, etc. (mounting hardware not included). The dimensions of this unit is Back Length: 44 inches. Front Length: 41.5 inches. Height: 19 inches. Depth: 17.7 inches. Please contact the manufacturer Trailer Star for recommendations on mounting and hardware.

I am trying to determine what the outside dims are at the bottom of the box. The top of the box apprears to be longer and would like to know if the 44 3/8L is the length at the top, or the bottom?
