The kit will be installed in the factory fill neck between the fuel door/cap and the factory tank. You will have to cut the factory fuel fill neck and remove enough of it to make room for the "T", thus allowing the auxiliary tank to gravity feed the factory tank.

It would only be a steel line (actually it's stainless steel) to under the truck box. from there its usually rubber.

The RDS Diesel Install Kit is gravity fed and does not have a pump. This kit will have a rollover valve that will prevent overfilling.

answer 2
It is just a gravity feed system. The hose splices into the truck's main fuel fill hose. The splice is oriented up, and has a small ball float that shuts off the fuel when the fuel level reaches that point. It basically shuts off at the same fill level as the fuel nozzle at the gas station. Your truck will stay perpetually full until the auxiliary tank is empty.

Its a float valve. not computer to mess anything up. Just gravity flows from the aux tank to the trucks tank till the float shuts the flow off.

Drain Fitting.
It's just gravity fed. So, there's no pump to pull the fuel out the top of your tank.

answer 2
The idea for the two large diameter hose sections is this:

When you install this kit, you must remove the factory fuel filler neck between the fuel door and the factory tank. Cut out enough of the factory filler neck to make room for the "T" thus allowing the auxiliary tank to fill the factory tank. The two large diameter hose sections are to connect the "T" to each section of the factory fill neck.

Yes, this will plumb in where the original fill spout comes into the OEM tank on your truck. It has a shut-off valve that will stop the flow of fuel to your OEM tank if you would like to fill from the original filler line.
