Does the overall length include the mounting brackets and if not, how much do they add to the length? Also where exactly are the brackets located (dimensions please) as my 2011 F350 has an upturn in the bed where the factory fuel inlet resides.

No, this tank is not compatible with diesel exhaust fluid. DEF is too corrosive for aluminum.
