This RDS Manufacturing 45-gal. auxiliary tank is intended to expand a vehicle’s fuel capacity, not for the transfer of fuel. Intended for highway use with non-hazardous fluids and fluids with a flashpoint greater than 100°F. It is the user’s responsibility to comply with local, state and federal requirements pertaining to safe transportation, loading, and discharging of tank contents. U.S.A. Tank Type: Auxiliary, Tank Size (gal.): 45, Overall Dimensions L x W x H (in.): 60 x 20 1/2 x 9, Material Type: Aluminum, Finish Type: Diamond plate finish, Shape: Rectangle, Includes: Withdraw tube, return and drain fitting Tank has a withdraw tube, return and drain fitting Blank plate allows for the mounting of a fuel pump or gauge sending unit Front corner fill Diesel install kits (Item#s 3490901 and 3490902), are also available (sold separately)

This auxiliary tank is built according to federal regulations and complies with the Federal Highway Safety Act. This tank is to be used for diesel fuel only and can be tied into your vehicles fuel tank using one of the additional install kits attached below.

Question

Are the additional fittings located on the top of the tank ?

The description of the tank includes additional fittings that are not shown in the picture. I need to know if these fittings are located on the top of this tank as shown on similar RDS tanks (like #71804 37gallon tank) . I have room for the fill neck on the front corner of the tank but do not have the height for fittings on the top of the tank.

No, the drain fitting and withdraw tube and return would be located at the end and bottom of the tank. The only thing on the top will be the fill tube.
