The gross load capacity when used as a weight carrying hitch is 5,000 lbs. trailer weight and 500 lbs. tongue weight. The gross load capacity when used in a straight line pull is 9,000 lbs. maximum line pull. It is also recommended not to exceed the manufacturer's towing capacity of your vehicle.
