No, this Milwaukee miter saw has two high power lights positioned on either side of the blade to illuminate the workpiece cutting area so that it is easy to see blade approach the cutting line. An ON / OFF switch for the lights is conveniently located on the trigger handle. The bulb is designed to provide several years of service.
