"The Norton Metal Bond Diamond Tool is used in the surface preparation step for grinding and flattening concrete floors. Each grit of tooling is color coded to assure accuracy in grind selection. The hardest of segments, the Abrader button segment is designed to remove stock and level abrasive floors quickly and extends life in very abrasive concrete. A full circular shape provides a smooth entry into the surface. It protects the floor from being gouged, unlike other stock removing bits with sharp edges. This allows you to get the work done faster with a minimum of surface removal, leaving a smooth level floor to be polished.
