This metal saw can be used to cut aluminum. The aluminum shavings may become embedded in the grooves of the saw blade so the blades would have to be cleaned more often than when cutting other metals.

I have used it to cut 1/4" aluminum angle and tube. Works well for that, but you do have to be a little careful with down pressure to keep it from grabbing too big of a bite.

This metal saw will cut 8" x 1/8" steel plate. It will cut a width up to 7-7/8" so you'll need to turn the plate around or over to finish the cut.

Yes but you will need to bind multiples together tightly with masking tape on both ends so it does not kick it back. This is the same thing I use mine for.
