Question

Can pump be reversed?

Other than extracting oil, can this unit be reversed somehow to also pump in oil to engine/transmission? Additional parts required to do this?

No, this item is intended to extract oil only. See the link below for a device that is made to pump oil from a 5 gallon pail into another location.

Not Recommended! The container is built dome shaped to withstand negitive pressure including the seals on the cap and pump. Even modifying this container would probably leed to failure when tank is pressurized for pumping liquid out instead of in.

No,it can't be reversed.I picked up a gadget at my local auto parts store that screws onto a quart or gallon container that can pump the contents into a transmission,transfer case,differential,etc.

This Liquivac topside oil changer is equipped with two different sized hoses, one measuring 5/16 inch inner-7/16 inch outer diameter and the other 3/16 inch inner-1/4 inch outer diameter.

Yes it does. there is a smaller tube which attaches to the main siphon tube.

It does not have a window or gauge to tell how much oil is it the tank. You would need to remove the cap to look in and see how full it is getting.

At this time we do not offer a replacement pump cylinder for this unit. Parts for this unit are supplied directly by the manufacturer and not by Northern Tool.

This Liquivac Topside Oil Changer can be used to evacuate many nonflammable liquids. Do not use for gasoline.
