Not sure what you mean, however, removing bars will effect the carrying capacity and overall safety ratings.

There are two ways to attach the Rack to your vehicle: No Drill Installation or Permanent Installation. Please see the product manual for details. The product manual is located under 'content links' on the product page.

This rack can be mounted 2 ways, either using the J-bolts supplied which would hook under the bed rail or drill through top of bed rail to fasaten permanently. No other drilling required.
