As long as it is installed correctly and as long as there is enough battery power, this inverter has a 100% duty cycle at 1800 watts.

battery voltage needs to be minimum of 11.5 volts and maximum voltage of 15 volts DC

The inverter will automatically shut down if the voltage drops below 10.5 or above 15.5 volts. The inverter will automatically recover when the voltage reaches 11.6.

The cooling fans in this inverter are thermostatically controlled. They do not run continuously.

inverter cooling fan only runs when internal regulated temp is achieved. during idle periods no fan operation is required. inverter can be left on for up to 5 days without impeding the vehicle battery life.

Use this Pure Sine Wave with a Modified Sine Wave

Can this Pure Sine Wave Inverter be used on the same battery bank with a Modified Sine Wave Inverter? I currently have a Modified inverter but wanting to add a pure sine wave one for the more sensitive electronic devices.

This inverter connected to the same battery bank as another inverter is not going to affect the output of either inverter, as long as the battery bank is large enough to provide the needs of both inverters.

This inverter is fuse protected and it is not necessary to install an inline fuse between the inverter and the battery. It is recommended that this product be installed by a professional. Improper installation could result in damage to the inverter.

This inverter draws less than 0.6 amps from the battery at no load. This is a low current draw. It would take a week to discharge a 100 Ah battery at this current, so you don’t have to worry about excessive drain on your battery if you leave the inverter switched on for a few days.

why does it have the 2 seprate dc connectors

on the back of this unit it has two different places to connect to a batt why is this what is the reason and how do you use them I have read the instructions and it never makes mention of the two separate connectors....

Multiple sets of cables are needed if using on any draw over 1000 watts. One set of each red/black cables will connect to the back of the unit and both will then connect to the same battery, reds to red and blacks to black.
