A small wind turbine of no more than 3500 watts could be used with this system. You would need to add another charge controller to the system.

If you are running the full 4400 watts the 8 batteries are only going to last at about 2 hours. If using 300 watts it would last about 3 days. The unit will give you 8 kw hours per day giving you 1000 watts. The 6 solar panels would charge the batteries each day.
