Rope is long enough to place each chock in the front and back of a large firetruck tire...so it will fit most any car or truck. Easy to access after installed as well.

These wheel chocks aren't designed to stop a moving vehicle. They're intended to prevent a parked vehicle or small aircraft from moving inadvertently.

You will drive over any chock with a car if you have enough momentum and depending on your garage floor type you could experience movement of the chock as well. You might want to put the chocks at a distance that you want to stop at and then visually align your steering wheel with a spot on a wall parallel to your vehicle so that you also know to stop your vehicle when the steering wheel and spot on the parallel wall are lined up...as well as knowing when you have reached your chocks with your tires.
