If the light is getting power from a battery it would need an on/off switch. If it is replacing a light that was getting power from the engine, the light will only come on when the engine is running and will not need a switch. However a switch can be added if desired.

We would recommend only using this light with a 9-32 volt system, anything over the 32 volts could impact the life of the light.

The lens on this Ultra-Tow LED Worklight is PMMA, short for polymethylmethacrylate, or more correctly Poly (methyl methacrylate). PMMA is a clear plastic acrylic material that can be used as a replacement for glass.
