Can the soft nose POL adapter be removed?

What is the inlet thread size if I can remove the POL adapter?

The soft nosed POL adapter can be removed. After removal, the inlet would have a 3/8" male pipe thread fitting. This regulator will function on your heater as it has a 11" WC output.

This item will require a 3/8 inch hose to connect. This hose can be picked up at a local hardware store because at Northern we do not sell the hose.

The regulator should be mounted from the distance of the appliance to the hook up. The manufacturer does not give a minimum distance. For example, 3/8" X 20' line will be 35,000 - 40000 Btu's.
