If hung on the ceiling, what is the minimum ceiling height for fire safety?

Is it safe to hang in in the screened porch with 8' ceilings?

The heater cannot be more than 24 inches from the floor, closer than 3 inches to the ceiling and combustibles must be at least 72 inches from the face of the heater.

There are mounting brackets included. The thermostat on this unit is a manual type. You would make the adjustment on the unit itself.
