The motor is fully enclosed inside the grill. Nothing sticks out beyond the grill in the front or back. The Mfg. does not have a web site for additional pictures.

The answer is yes, and no. While the motor is inside the fan, the control box is outside, along with cord storage. But, the rear grill is recessed, which means the control box and cord storage still sit flush with the profile contours of this fan. Ingenious design, I think. I love this fan. As far as pics, I haven't seen any.

Staff Answer
This fan could not be mounted horizontally in a cupola. I would recommend our commercial exhaust fans such as item #255352 or 255353 for high CFM volume for this application. The shutter for the fans is also available, item #255346.

The fan motor is sealed or fully enclosed. A fully enclosed motor keeps out dust and particles which greatly increases the life of the motor.
