I want to install this fan outdoors. It will get wet during a driving rain. Is it waterproof?

No, this fan does not have a waterproof housing, you will want to mount it indoors away from the elements.

It doesn't appear to be weather proof, probably ok under a shelter though, just not in direct rain.

Yes, there's a rotating drive sticking out the bottom, it appears to be a horizontal line just below the motor housing in the side view product pics, you remove the bolt from the eccentric location and reinstall the linkage in the center of the spinning drive. A couple minutes with a wrench and its done.

This FlowPro wall fan is approved to be mounted to a 2X4 covered by drywall, I recommend using 2 inch screws.

the mount plate has 3 holes only 2 will fit on a 2+4.as long as u use good size screws 2 will be good.

The control for this FlowPro fan is located on the back motor housing. It has a small pull chain. You could make it longer if needed.

Looking for how many degrees the sweep is and if it is fixed or adjustable.

Also is the tilt adjustable? If so, how far up and how far down?

The oscillation sweep on the FlowPro Oscillating Wall Circulator is fixed at approximately 90 degrees. The oscillation can be turned off, but cannot be adjusted. The vertical tilt will have a range of approximately 30 degrees.

It would not be able to be set up with the misting ring. It would need to have a totally enclosed wet approved motor.
