Staff Answer
"A" belts and "B" belts have different thickness so as a result they ride at a different height in the pulley, this is why the recommended width is different for each. This clutch is compatible with either a 5/8' wide "A" belt or a 1/2" wide "B" belt.

Question

Does this clutch use a .250 inch keyway, and is it on both the driven and the driver bores?

This is very important in that I'm driving two shafts that are in alignment with each other. Also, if I chose to purchase a Hilliard clutch for a gear rather than a pulley do you sell do you sell the coresponding gear for the driven shaft with a 1 inch bore?

The keyway in this clutch is 3/16" ( 0.1875 inch). the bore is only intended to be used on the engine or motor shaft (there is just a single bore not two) and when it engages it drives the belt pulley.
If you were to use the gear clutch rather than the pulley clutch that would also go on the engine shaft and could drive a chain connecting to a gear such as item # 1360 when used on on a sprocket holder hub such as item # 138291. See links below for more details.

V-Belts are classified into types ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ and ‘E’. The categorization of this is based on the cross sectional size of the belt. This item is made to work with either an "A" or "B" V-belt.
