Concrete cleaner can be run through this detergent injector, the only concern to watch for is that your pump is designed to handle concrete cleaner.

This would not work for that application. You would want to find a downstream detergent injector.

This is an upstream injector which installs before the pump. This allows you to spray soap at high pressure. Make sure what your using is harmless to the pump. We do have downstream injectors which install after the pump.

Upstream means before the pump. This allows you spray chemical at high pressure. You will want to be careful what you run through the pump, because it may damage it.

Upstream applies to a chemical or soap added to the water before it goes into the power washer. Most power washers have a downstream injector that only injects chemicals or soaps at a low pressure similar to standard garden hose pressure.

I spoke with the manufacturer (Suttner America) and with the different variations of pressure washers out there, this injector typically mixes a chemical at a 13-15 percent ratio.

The mix ratio is up to you. For my first usage, I mixed a few ounces of a generic Simple Green type liquid soap with a few gallons of water. The pressurized soap applied was sufficient to do what I needed. Having some experience in pressure applied soaps I can say that just a small amount of product goes a long way under pressure. A half cup of soap in two gallons of water lasted 20 minutes for blasting stains from the aluminum fascia on my home.
