This NorthStar ATV Sprayer with Boomless Spray System is great for applying chemicals to large and small areas. Tank has large fill neck for easy spill free use. Dependable NorthStar on-demand pump. Heavy droplet pattern for minimal drift. Unique broadcast nozzles cover a 40-ft. area with no boom arms to break and have left/right nozzle control. Remote switch to turn on boom from vehicle. NorthStar's proprietary tank design features extra-thick walls that won't bulge or sag. It stands up to chemicals thanks to a special polymer known for its superior chemical resistance. The sprayer comes with two broadcast nozzles that adjust from a straight stream to a hollow cone spray that can provide you with a 10' wide spray pattern.

Yes, very easily so. You will have to estimate the 10' then try it and see, but it only takes one or two times to get good at it.

what is range of width that this sprayer can spray?

sometimes i need to spray 10 feet, or 20 or 30 to 40 feet. is this unit capable of doing this ?

This sprayer's range can be adjusted in two ways. It has an adjustable set screw located near the pressure switch to allow for pressure adjustment, you can tighten or loosen the set screw while spraying and read the gauge to set the correct pressure. Reducing the pressure will reduce the spraying width of the nozzles. Also, this sprayer comes with a boom valve which allows you to turn off chemicals/water to the left, right, or both boom nozzles. This will further allow you to control your spray patterns/widths.

very much so, and easy too. 40 feet maybe tough...depending on how high you mount your sprayer and how tall the cover is that you are trying to spray over.

Question

Can I use this sprayer as a plant waterer.

By taking the spray tip off will the stream of water be bigger to water hanging baskets. Will the preasure be to much for this.

This sprayer has not been tested when the spray tip/nozzle is removed as to what the spray pattern emitted will result in. The spray may still be too pressurized or erratic(not a centralized stream) for watering plants.

Do you sell the boom in 10 or 15 ft on this unit instead of the boomless?

Want to get a sprayer that has 5.5 gpm, with a boom that will spray 10 or 15 ft. I don't want the boomless. Thank You.

How do I connect the broadcast sprayer?

It looks like the broadcast sprayer attaches to a draw bar on an atv. My atv has a receiver hitch, not a draw bar. How would I connect this to it?

This sprayer can be mounted in a pickup bed. The broadcast bracket though is designed to attach to the hitch on the ATV so it may not readily bolt on a truck hitch. The sprayer does include tie down straps for mounting. Any other type of mounting would be determined by the purchaser.

Yes - its the heighth off the ground that you should be trying to solve. If youre to high, the amount of spray or liquid will be to little,or you could go slower. This product was designed for a ATV but I have mine mounted in a small trailer that I pull behind my rideing lawn mower. Just think out of the box,it will work.

While the pressure and spray pattern on the NorthStar ATV Sprayer can be adjusted, the volume(GPM) cannot be lowered.

I purchased this item but need to have a finer spray for insecticide.Can I purchase different nozzles? What size a nozzles work with this 3/8 or 1/2?
