There is not a rating for how many square feet a gallon can clean because many factors come into play. Such as the type of siding, how dirty, and what it is your trying to clean off. 1 gallon of wash can make up to 30 gallons when mixed with water.

I have used 1 gallon in a 5 gallon bucket with the rest being water. I was able to do a 2500 sq ft home. May need more if heavily soiled.

It all depends. What type of sidding, how dirty and what are you trying to clean off. Somethings to ask yourself. For lite vinyl cleaning mix about 1 half cup of cleaner to 1 gallon of water. It is better to use a pump sprayer

This product will not damage a pressure washer pump. When using any chemical, we recommend that the pump be flushed with clear water after each use. Pleas note that a typical use of this product would not cause contact with the pressure washer pump. In most cases the most effective way to use this product is to apply it to the surface under low pressure through a down stream detergent injector, let dwell and rinse with high pressure. When drawn through a downstream detergent injector the product will not contact the pump because it is being drawn into the water after it has left the pump.

answer 2
If using a northstar pressure, chemicals do not pass through pump. Check your pressure washer's chemical injector to detemine if chemicals pass through the pump. Most pressure washers now have downstream injectors (does not pass through pump). Always flush with clear water before storing pressure washer away.regardless of what kind of pressure washer.
