Question
How much natural gas is used per hour at 1/2 load.
I asked this question previously but apparently was mis-understood because I did not get the answer that I was looking for. So I will re-state the question more clearly.
How many therms of natural gas does this generator use in one hour running at 1/2 load. And how many therms of natural gas does this generator use in one hour at full load ? Thank You for you reply.
p.s Please reply in therms as that is how I am billed for my natural gas useage.

answer 1
For the 17kW standby generator, the fuel volume and pressure requirements for natural gas at full load are 5-7” water column at 261,000 BTU/hr. For half load, the fuel volume and pressure requirements are 5-7” water column at 183,000 BTU/hr. 1 therm = 100,000 BTU's.
